About me
I am a loving Mom with over 30 years childcare experience. My child care experience started in high school. I took 3 years of R.O.P classes, where I worked at the local preschool as an aide. I started teaching preschool in
1985, while working my way through college. I was also the assistant director for two years. I have an E.C.E background, an AA degree from Cypress College, and left school in my senior year at CSULB.
My major was Human Development. I have 4 units to complete and plan to go back and finish my degree.
I started my daycare business in 1995. I was in my senior year at CSULB
and was starting the teaching credential program; when my oldest son
started to have fever seizures, and show signs of being disabled. I needed
to stay at home but, wanted to teach. My in home daycare has helped me
accomplish this goal. I love my job.
About My Family
I remarried in 2002. My husband fully supports my daycare and helps out
by caring for our oldest son. He has adjusted his work schedule so that he
gets home when my son gets home from school. My oldest son is a 23
year old loving man. He currently is in a year round special day program at
his adult program. He taught me the true meaning of life. I also have two
younger children. My daughter is 14 years old and my youngest son is 12
years old. They amaze me every day, and make life so much fun!
